We are all for re-usable water bottles, but let's face it. When it's this hot you have to get your water in large quantities any way you can. Drink up!
Dogs, cats, budgies, whatever your pet don't forget to keep them cool and comfortable. If you have a goldfish in a bowl don't leave the bowl in a window. That's a pro tip for free.
You do not want to show up at your new place to find the windows closed and the sun beating in. Draw the drapes, turn on the air conditioning. Do whatever you have to!
It's always a good idea to pack some essentials in a suitcase, duffel bag, or other useful container. Maybe just ice packs and cold drinks though.
